2008 Season Schedule On-line
2008 Season Changes
The sailing schools held a scheduling meeting in the fall and agreed to work on several changes for the 2008 season. First, we will be putting renewed emphasis on regatta writeups for each event and having them posted in a timely fashion. WYC has agreed to deal with the season scoring for the 420 fleet which consumes the greater portion of scoring time due to the amazing number of boat/skipper discrepencies.
We also agreed to standard the daily schedule. The motivation here is to provide a more consistent framework for parents and improve racing quality.
The preferred schedule is:
Registration from 8:00 - 8:45
Skippers meeting 9:00
First Warning 10:00
Lunch 12:00 - 1:00
No race can start after 3:00
With 5 races schedule lasting 20 - 30 minutes for the first finisher in all fleets except Optimist green.
Emily Cox is going to do a TCYS t-shirt this year.
TCYS Coaches Meeting June 8th
There will be a coaches only meeting for TCYS coaches on June 8th at 630pm. NOR's and entry forms will be distributed and we will go over the regatta rules and procedures for the events. TCYS will be providing food.
